They helped me in a tough time. Everyone was great. Both the nurses on my floor and the nurses in the ER. My only problem is the time it took for everything happen.
my fiance was seen in the ER for a sinous infection...he was given 2 medications that will make a person sleepy and out of it..he went in by himself. when he was discharged NO one ask or suggested he get a ride home. 30 mins later he got into a car accient where he blacked out/fell asleep. again to the ER where he has multipal broken ribs and bruised lungs. the accident could have been avoided if he was told he needed a ride home.
Waiting time is expected usually. Clean facility. Friendly staff, results are usually accurate.
What a day...My husband Took me to the er today because I was having sharp pains in my chest. Got to the er got right in.they began checking me out did blood test ekg and X-ray.after awhile doctor came in and said X-ray showed what appeared to be pneumonia.they gave me some pain meds and Pepcid but still had the pain getting worse so when doctor came back in she said they could run the ekg again and do a Ct,so they did.after 30 minutes or so doctor came in and said the Ct didn't show pneumonia so it's not pneumonia.Now it's a hiatul hernia.But she suggested being admitted under a cardiologist who may schedule a stress test so she went to arrange that. Little later she came in and said cardiologist won't allow me to be admitted cause tests weren't showing anything that warrants an admission and she's sorry they are not for sure what's wrong but if pain persists or gets worse we can come back or go somewhere else. Really?!!!!!we spent four hours plus in the er to hear they are not for sure what's wrong and leave in the same pain I came in with which was and still is a pain level 10. They diagnosed me with Muskoskeleton and Gerd gave me prescription for muscle relaxer and Zantac. Seriously? WE WILL NEVER GO TO CENTRALIA HOSPITAL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This hospital is a joke. I went in for high blood pressure. The Doctor came in and briefly talked to me. He had sent the nurse in to give me meds. She had this syringe without a needle. She squirted the meds under my tongue. A few minutes passed and I complained about the burning feeling in my mouth and bad taste. She looks at a paper and said "Oh, that medicine should have went in your iv". My heart started racing and I could hear the swishing sound in my ears. My husband had to get the Doctor. They had to give me Ativan. Apparently when the Doctor came in, he thought I was there for some other reason. They never took my vitals in the room until after the medicine was administered. I will go to Mt. Vernon instead!
